The worst thing is, that if you hear her without all the auto-tune shit, she's actually a good singer.

Courtesy of the fuhrer James, I'm still loving this track (and album). Would never have given the band a second thought after their horrific (pun alert) debut but James was convinced - and he was right. Sound like a psychedelic Joy Division with a touch of My Bloody Valentine 'noise'.

I've given their debut a few more tries since getting into them. It's still horrific (whey). Primary Colours is just brilliance though. Still one of my favourite albums from the past 5 or so years.

Would love to see them live actually. They've just announced 3 shows today, but they're a bit out of the way for me. Looking forward to their new stuff this year.

Gilles Peterson has been playing that a lot on his show recently, I'm not complaining, I love me some Raphael Saadiq.

Speaking of events, I've recently acquired tickets to Parklife Weekender, can't wait. DJ Shadow, Mount Kimbie, Jamie xx, Grandmaster Flash, Kelis, Metronomy etc. Pretty awesome line-up for £65.

Have to say though, Bestival's line-up takes the biscuit this year. If only I had the money...

Reading/Leeds line-up is pretty meh imo.
