So, I'm not sure how to convey this to people who live across the world but if you're anywhere near one of DJ Shadow / Cut Chemist's next shows you have to go. If you're into the history of music, hip hop, producing, reallly anything to do with modern music this is a mind expanding show.
Manchester/London/Bristol over the next few days, cruising through a lot of Europe in mid February and then on to Australia in March.
Preview of the show, which guides the crowd through the base of hip hop (all those good 60/70/80's tunes) and how they were repurposed. All of this is done on 6+ turntables timed between two artists on stage at once.
