I always forget the name of the tune too. But to not know it was Led Zeppelin is indeed a bit shocking.

Then again, I always get caught Shazaming something by The Who!

Not listened to this band for a long time, but their new stuff is by far the best they've produced. New album (Individ) is definitely a good place to start.

Was trying to remember which song I shazamed. Twas this one.

I was totally shocked when I saw the result. I love the Who!

I was aware of a few of their tunes from when I was a kid- Just Can't Get Enough, Everything Counts (though I didn't know that was them) and, of course, Enjoy The Silence. But it wasn't till a mate played me Barrel of a Gun in 97, and then their singles 86>98 video, that I felt the need to investigate further.

And then an obsession began. I feel very lucky to have seen them 3 times now, they're wonderful.

I was big on them in high school then forgot about them for years to be honest. Great singles band.

Dave Gahan's vocal lines on SingStar really make you understand how hard it is to put that much interest into such comparatively boring phrasing and melody. 🙂

I like the way they use "Back in Black" at the beginning of the first Iron Man movie.

Speaking of Depeche Mode, I recently saw "Synth Britannia", a BBC 4 documentary on the rise of synth music in the 80s - so good.
