Went to Gilles Peterson's Worldwide Awards on Saturday. Was really good with the highlight definitely being SBTRKT. Been listening to a lot of Washed Out, Michita, Swarms and King Krule/Zoo Kid of late too. Need to gig more.

I've been listening to a bit of SBTRKT recently, liking it a lot.

Am currently waiting for albums by Beak (a side project from Portishead's Geoff Barrow) and Shabazz Palaces to arrive.

Got 4 of the Suede remasters as a belated Christmas pressie last night- fuck, there's a load of stuff on there. Hopefully, these will set the standard for similar projects in the future.

Hmm that's actually something I'd like to hear. Haven't listened to Suede in years really but I used to fucking love them in the 90s. The Sci-Fi Lullabies collection from back in the day was great proof of what excellent, prolific songwriters the original lineup were.

Roots Manuva at the Roundhouse last night- blistering show. Seen him 3 times before last night, never seen him as focussed as he was yesterday. Obviously, and rightly, confident in his new material.
