My boss got 4 tickets to The Stone Roses in Madchester. So jealous. If they add another date I'm gonna be all over it like a tramp on cheesey chips!

I saw Ian Brown's solo act at a festival about five years ago, it was complete rubbish.

He just sort of jogged around like a drugged chimp half-singing. But I think Reni and Mani launching into the first few bars of Fool's Gold would still be orgasmic ...

Bit late to the party but as I remember Eminem rates 3000 as only bettered by Redman.

Indeed, loving it too. As expected, better than Beady Eye (Liam and the rest of Oasis), although I do like their effort too.

Such a great band - basically just conventional blues rock but they really go berserk. Gareth Liddiard is intense.

I'm not sold on it yet. Was more interested in hearing his effort than Beady Eye's but first impressions were that the Beady Eye album was better. Some of the songs on Noel's fall flat, they weren't good enough as Oasis songs first time round and it seems a bit lazy o just re-do them and fill an album when he could have taken time and done soemthing a bit fresher. He's got some good song on there, just think others let it down somewhat. Gonna get tickets on Friday anyway.

nice, particularly the bolded ones. Midnight Marauders is my tribe album of choice. Award Tour is on it, which prob my all time favourite chill song. You should check out the tribe doco "beats, rhymes, and life", if you haven't already.

ive really been sleeping on kendrick lamar's debut section 80. this is the kid that snoop and the Game officially passed the west coast torch to, and the hype is justified. probably the best new hip hop album i heard since distant relatives by nas and damian marley

What does anyone think of Coldplay's new album? Only listened to it once through but it was a bit disappointing on first listen. It all sounds a bit samey if that's a word - it's basically the same as their first 2 albums and virtually every song sounds the same, apart from the bizarre duet with Rihanna that sounds more Rihanna than Coldplay and is very out of place on a Coldplay album. But all their others took a few listens to grow on me so maybe this will do the same.

I think Coldplay's new album is shit.

But I haven't listened to it, I just know it will be. Taking my ill arse off to see the Arctic Monkeys at the O2 tomorrow night with Jo and friends. Hoping to hook up with James at some point too.

Coldplay's latest album grew on me as well ... a bit like a fungus. Fixed the problem with a topical cream.

Before I even heard one note from that album I detested it 🙂
Based solely on the fact that they called it Mylo Xyloto.
I don't know why but that was enough to annoy me.

I felt justified when I first heard the dirgy "Para-para-paradise Para-para-paradise Oh oh oh oh oh oh-oh-oh-oh La-la-la-la-la-la-la" .
Awful stuff.
I don't like Coldplay.
