This has to go down as the worst match thread in the history of OMITT, which can only means it's going to be a magnificent performance from the lads.

Giroud to start? It seems incredibly hard to justify dropping someone who has scored in each of his last 5 games, though I guess you can cite his injury as a reason not to risk him. I'd give Ox or Lucas a go over Iwobi this week. Also hoping Aaron keeps his place ahead of Coquelin.

Iwobi is in good form. No way I'd play Ox ahead of him.

Iwobi has had a decent second half vs Swansea but was mostly poor before that. We have about three months left in the season and I don't think we've seen Lucas in consecutive matches ffs, not sure what Wenger is still waiting for.

not sure he knows either. maybe he's saving him for our late season revival

I think he wants someone who's going to get more involved in the build-up play but I don't think Iwobi has been struggling lately so it's not really working. We're better off getting someone who'll play closer to Giroud in Lucas who has been playing quite well lately.

I'm happy with either Lucas or Iwobi. Both provide a solid option but do different things. I just don't think Ox does either thing as well as those 2 and I'd hate to see him start this match.

Bit of winter sun. Just looks like a typical day for tourists inside the stadium.

Really hope Ramsey and Xhaka play well today.

The evolution of the Xhaka Ramsey partnership is key to where we end up this season I reckon

I think so too, Y va. There aren't any good alternatives for either player in the squad so let's hope they do well today.

We're in for a long afternoon if Moss is going to blow every single time a Burnmouth player goes down.

Ramsey with some infuriatingly slow feet.

Fuck, Giroud took that away from Ramsey.

The refereeing standard is incredible in this league isn't it. Genuinely calciopoli levels of bad
