It does because people/fans matter.

It's the whole package Captain.

Well then talk about atmosphere and passion in the stands, not the price of tickets.

Which there's not a whole lot of in Spain.

Bah-
Flamenco is boring and stupid.
Bullfighting is cruel and stupid.
Paella is revolting and stupid.

Spanish films can sometimes be hot though.

Okay.

If you want passion, watch the Greeks and Turks. I imagine places like Serbia have good atmosphere, but I never see game footage.

On Spain, I'm still shocked by the weakness of the La Liga teams as they look to employ effectively the same contract. There are 18 of them vs Barca and Madrid. They should've demanded the exact same money for everyone to start the season, and then distributed some portion of the money based on league position. I just don't understand what leverage Barca and Madrid had. Yes, 90% of La Liga viewers want to watch those two teams, but those two teams need an opponent, right?

Barca vs Real every week. Hmm, yes, I can see it already.

Yep the Germans have done a tremendous job with their league. They should be the template for all the big European leagues. Great for fans, open/competitive league, no monopoly on dominance, not even Bayern and still playing at a high level and keeping their indigenous talent.

agree with that qs.

la liga and serie a are both joke leagues. overrated, boring and corrupt.

Biggus do you not like Spain and its culture in general?

How much serie a do you watch? I think its been an excellent season so far.

Serie A is definitely bouncing back. If they can get some financial reform and some butts on seats, the league will be fine. At least it feels competitive, with at least the top 3 all have a shot at the title.

There are aspects to Spanish culture that I dislike.
Just like there are aspects to many cultures I dislike.

Spanish films can sometimes be hot though.

this is italy we're talking about, right? just checking 🙂

:-), yeah all of those are a tall ask.
it is worth watching though. the thing about Serie A: that Rooney overhead kick happens every other week. People don't even bat an eyelid when the likes of Quagliarella put on acrobatic shows. And then there's the much maligned Ibra, who has been remarkable this season. He has played very much like our Robin, linking play, bringing the likes of Robinho, Seedorf and Cassano into play, and creating for himself. He is such an amazing player.
