Overall a really poor performance from our attacking players. Thought Alexis was decent enough though. Special shout outs for shit performances to Ramsey, Özil, Monreal, Walcott and Elneny.
Jenkinson is a weird one. I thought he was decent enough defensively, but the contrast between him and Bellerin when we have the ball is like night and day. Basically, Jenkinson offers very, very little, while Bellerin offers a lot. I lost count of the occasions when Jenkinson panicked and just hoofed the ball back to them. On top of that, he gave us nothing offensively. We have got used to much better from Bellerin, and I think that somewhat clouds people's opinion when assessing Jenko.
Bigger problem for me is, as mentioned before, Monreal. Adrian Clarke in his latest Breakdown put numbers to what my feeling has been for a long while now; we concede an abnormal amount of goals stemming from our left flank. For the goal yesterday, I think Monreal was the main culprit too. He just didn't bother to track the run down his flank which led to the cross, and he was in an excellent position to cut that out.
As for good performances, I thought Cech, our CBs, and Coquelin are the only starters to walk away from this with their heads held high.
