I remember when he was pretty close to joining Everton a few years back.

Anyways, if somebody came in really strong for Banega they'd get him. All Valencia's players are available for reasonableish prices. I do wonder if people are put off slightly by his past and how long it took him to adapt to Spain.

I'd hate it if United or City signed Banega and we had an opportunity to get him but passed up on it. He'd definitely uplift their class levels.

Not sure one is markedly better than the other, Xc. What we do know, though, is that Nasri works well for us, so I'd keep what we have.

we would not get a taste of the players we need like those mentioned above
