In all fairness, he's also been shit this year though when he played.
Got a big chance in the Rome Derby and got himself sent off for no real reason.
In any case, Mancini is a big fan so if he moves it will be to Man City.

Maybe but if Zeman has any sense he won't mess around De Rossi. And if he does want to go then we have no chance.

Not just the armband, but being the driving spirit behind the team. This was supposed to have happened at least 2 years ago. It says less about De Rossi though and more about Totti who has had an underrated career and is one of the truly great players currently in action.

Yeah, I think so too. Make no mistake about it, De Rossi is revered as a demigod in Rome. It's just that Totti is god himself to those people. When he calls it a day de Rossi will be the next object of their affection. He's probably got a solid six or seven years left at top level anyway, as long as he stays in Italy.

We'd be better off, if we did that.

Decent to good players aren't going to raise our level, whether we add 3 or 5. We need top quality, players that can make the difference.
