We should definitely go for Ba. He's too good a player to turn down at £7m, especially given we're also short in numbers up front.

That shouldn't stop us from trying our hardest to get the likes of Cavani though.

I don't think Falcao would move for 45m. Atletico bought him for €40m back in the day. Think they're looking out for as much as 60m.

I dont think we need an 'elite' level centre mid, just a good player with the right characteristics. But we need a top quality forward.

Est, pay 50m pounds if need be. It's excessive but there are a few things to consider
1) no top team does it without an elite striker (unless you're Juve in a woeful Serie A)
2) there are not that many top strikers who are available given how valuable they are

I think the defence will be alright once Kos gets a decent run again. Need to cut our losses with Vermaelen though and I'm not sure Mertesacker, though I like him, will hold up in the long run either.

Do you see any of the them as big liabilities individually though? Apart from Gibbs (Who's still okay), that's a rather good set of defenders. Think a new midfield would go a long way in fixing our defensive issues... But then again, I was convinced that Arteta Wilshere Cazorla would be the best midfield in the PL, so I don't really trust myself on this one...
