gonna say honda. haven't seen him play that much and would perhaps be a bit of a gamble, but i think he looks like an excellent player. technically gifted, smart, quick and probably one of the players we can actually afford.

Even Barcelona who play in La Liga realize you need a bit of height and power in midfield. Banega is a good player, but can you guys honestly see a midfield working in the PL with 3 of Arteta, Banega, Cazorla and Wilshere?

I think it's Schweinsteiger the rumor is referring to. Doubt it's true though. The Germans have been giving him a hard time all summer. Germany's and Bayern Munich's collective failures have been blamed on him. I would be thinking of a move abroad if I were him.

Didn't Schweinsteiger sign that new contract with them last season though?

We had these same rumours about Arsenal's negotiating team being in Germany last summer, and it turned out we were actually trying to sign Goetze. Even made a bid didn't we according to Dortmund?
