Wouldnt mind making a quick profit on Chamakh. May turn out decent, but I dont think he's a good fit for our squad.

Won't happen, but wouldn't mind too much either.

Had high hopes for Chamakh. Liked his initial inputs, but concerned about what he adds, especially as we do need to make sure that we have someone who can keep our chosen style of offense running when RvP is rested / injured. Chamakh is not that man, nor is he an effective scoring alternative. He's very close to an Arab Heskey.

agree with ricky's list except for diaby. love the skills, the physique and the anger. obviously not a fan of his inability to pass, but i still have hope in him.

So which players would you people expect to be able to perform better for a new manager?
Obviously some would be gone but some- like Diaby who really is a square peg in a round hole might thrive, and who doesn't have high hopes for Wilshere.

Wilshere's just class mate. Everything about him from his technique, awareness, and determination. Think you'll be hard pressed to find anyone who doesn't rate him, Arsenal fan or not.

biggus, i dont think any of those guys would do better under a new manager. they just suck. though i think rosicky might do well if he moved to a bundesliga team and played LM. overall, i think wenger gets the most out of his players, i just think a lot of our players are pussies.

😆 This one?

My wish is that I can once again vent my filth and fury against our bitter rivals and officialdom instead of against my own club and its management as it continues to flounder and not address obvious issues (to me) that have needed urgent attention and plagued the team for years.

Biggus, the big conundrum here is that individual players are getting better, but the team as a whole is not.

Yep, and I don't think even a Carling will quench their thirst for trophies and they'll move on as they always do.

On that note, and given that this is a wishlist, when Fabregas leaves, how do we want to handle it?

1) Push Wilshere forward. Who do we bring in a DM?

2) Keep Wilshere where he is, bring in a like for like replacement for Fabregas. Who?

3) Keep Wilshere where he is, shift Nasri to Fabregas' current position? Who replaces Nasri on left?

What do you guys think will happen?

You're gonna love this answer: Ramsey.

Depends when he goes really. If we hang on to him for a couple of years then Ramsey is the obvious solution. If he were to go in the summer, i'd rather we brought in a complete CM and pushed Wilshere forward.

I don't agree with that tbh, i think over the last couple of months we've played our best football since the start of 07/08.

Before he got injured, Ramsey was my man for that 3rd midfielder position. I hope he gets back to health quickly.

So do you think that as early as next season, we could manage with a starting midfield of Wilshere, Ramsey, Song?

I do fear that if we don't win this year, Fabregas could tire of this project. Just have to look at someone like Torres to see that players prioritize their professional ambitions before football club, just as you and I probably prioritize our own professional growth before our respective employers.

Looks like Diaby is the scapegoat for the Newcastle game. Disappointing behaviour no doubt but there was much more to our dismal result than his red card.

Diaby was the catalyst for long-time bad habits to surface.

i dont blame him at all, we could do with some aggression. if there's ever a time to get a red card, it's so you can grab barton by the neck in the 65th min with a 4 goal lead.

Nah it's easier to blame Diaby and a shit ref rather than face the horrible truth- We've wasted 6 years.

Ha, thats exactly what i thought at the time.

Blaming the man who wasn't on the pitch hardly seems logical.

Unless he's the manager.
