I didn't mean it in a bad way, but that's his level. Top four quality, not top European quality. Not yet anyway. He has it in him to step up further at Arsenal.
Podolski is a lot better than Kalou or Dempsey. Maybe not top level, but still better than those two.
Podolski has a far more impressive pedigree to be fair.

Humble, the fact is he's better than all bar one of our frontline players this season. If it weren't for the fact that we seem to have Podolski, I'd actually be happy for us to chase Dempsey. We need hardworking frontmen who can be reliable options for goals.
We can´t afford Dempsey after the season he has had anyway. 🙂
Also, he isn´t THAT good, and I will be thoroughly disappointed if we don´t have a few better altenatives than Dempsey at both AM and on the wings going into next season.
He's scored 22 goals in early April and assisted another 8 or 9. For a club like Fulham, mind. Not Chelsea or Arsenal but bloody Fulham where Danny Murphy is the club captain. I'm telling you right now that nobody we'll sign this summer will better those stats next season.

Really like Dempsey, would have liked him in the summer when there were small rumours, but not now.

Don't get me wrong, Dempsey has been fantastic for fulham and is a strong player. Just not right for us.

Thanks for nitpicking Rex. So he's only been involved in 27 goals this season as opposed to 30 then. That completely invalidates the point I made.
