Aye. It's the exact same problem we're having with Walcott, only the peak is much smaller. Theo has shown that he's capable of scoring and assisting 20-25 goals per season which is something Ben Arfa was never close to even during his most successful seasons in France. His stats this season are pretty much identical to Gervinho's.
Ben Arfa has tonnes of ability, really surprised Wenger resisted the temptation to take a gamble on him back when he left Lyon.

That's where he would have played though. Either side of the attack. He would've been better than what we have at the moment. Feels a bit pointless to sign him now if Podolski comes here though.

Gervinho was never good enough either to be a nailed on starter here as he was pre ACN. Doubt Dempsey would have been any better.
We don´t need more Gervinhos/Dempseys - we need Podolskis and Wilsheres.

The players we've been linkedwith that scare me a bit are Dempsey, rodellega, Sigurdsson, kalou and hoillett
I think Kalou is the pick of the bunch. Not sure how much Chelsea have damaged him though, or why he'd leave them to sit on the bench for us instead.
We don´t need more Gervinhos/Dempseys/Kalous - we need Podolskis and Wilsheres.
Podolski is basically a Dempsey/Kalou signing.
