Id guess finding top Brazillian talent isn't a problem. The fact Spanish clubs get first dibs is. And then the work permit issues. And then adaptation issues. Theres so many hurdles between Brazilian talent and the Arsenal first team you cant expet a stream but your looking for that one special one. Like Vela with balls.

Mentioned him for January, and I'm firm in my belief that we should take a good look at Dempsey. Proven premier league performer who gets better each season. He should be next year's Arteta for us.

He's only 3rd behind RvP and Rooney for goals scored in 2012, although Demba Papis will probably pass them all by the end. He IS Fulham.

I don't think he's the 'top quality' we need, I certainly wouldn't be pleased with him starting the majority of our games next season. I like him, and if this was 2008 and we need options instead of Diaby and Eboue on the wings I'd take him in a heart beat but the situations has been reversed now.

Comparisons with Arteta are off because the latter has been one of the best players outside of the top four since 2005.

There's a difference between the quality I want and the quality I expect. I'd like to see Kagawa or Hazard come in, but that's not happening. Citeh, PSG and Chelsea could be shopping for wingers / AMs as well. Dempsey has had a much better season than any of Walcott, Rosicky, Ramsey or Gervinho. He'd most likely improve us and would be available in the bargain bin that Wenger likes to look in

I like Dempsey but he strikes me as a player who needs to be playing week in week out to have an impact, will he get that here? Don't think so.. Wouldn't completely say no though as he ticks a lot of the boxes that I'd want. age, experience & versatility.

We really should focus on giving depth to our squad by only going for players who will be starters, and thus having a current starter for depth.

Would Dempsey start here? No - therefore no thanks.

So apparently Papass Cisse has a £7m release clause for teams that have qualified for the CL? Would be a hell of a signing for us, especially as a second striker.

Dempsey would start for us, but I'd like to see us getting someone a bit younger like Kagawa.
