I admire Cavani and never even stop to think that he could ever be an Arsenal player. Even if a mysterious cataclysmic event led to the simultaneous destruction of Real, Milan, Barca, United, Chelsea and City, we still wouldn't be able to engineer a way to bring him to Arsenal.

He won't work with van Persie anyway.

I'm looking at Dortmund right now. Been thinking this for a while now, but I'd like us to try for Robert Lewandowski in the summer. He's a very good striker who's just coming of age. Would probably view Arsenal as a step-up in level. Might find himself a bit marginalised at Dortmund next season when Reus comes back too.

You think they'll play Reus upfront?

Really don't know. Maybe. My gut feeling is that he'll play to the left or even in the hole, but it probably depends a bit on what happens with Götze.

Read in a few different places that Reus is the first part of a plan to convince Götze to stay, that they're going build the team around him, and Reus is the calibre of player that will convince him to commit to that.

Just fan nonsense Ricky. Gotze ain't gonna leave anyway; it's just normal steps to improve the team.

Reckon Reus will play left personally.

Good side. If they could get someone similar in style to Sahin (or Sahin himself), they'd have a bit of everything in their team. Perhaps would still lack a top striker though, Barrios is decent, but not brilliant.

Barrios doesn't play anymore to be fair and levandowski is much improved.

I'm mainly basing what I know of Barrios on his World Cup displays, caught my eye and I liked him. Lewandowski didn't look all that special in our games with them, but maybe I misjudged him.

Reus, Kagawa and Götze will be a nightmare to deal with whoever they stick up front.

They might use Reus like Messi, as some kind of false 9 (whatever that is). That is if they keep Goetze. Personally, I think they will sell if a proper offer comes in (north of 30m pounds)

Can't see that role because they have Kagawa. Too much speculation anyway; will be exciting to see them next year.

The thing about Reus (when I've seen him) is that he needs a platform, will be interesting to see what he does in a team with more shared responsibility next season.

I think it's interesting how he's developed this season. I read up on him a month or two back and found that he was always fairly highly rated in Poland. And not in the sense of being the best from an underwhelming bunch or anything, but genuinely rated. It surprised me, but I'm starting to see where they're coming from. It's not just his goalscoring and movement pattern that has improved, he seems to have a bit of playmaking skills too. Maybe it's just him finally adjusting to a european top five league. I thought he was a bit older than 23 too.
