We never had a chance he turned down Bayern. He must have been very keen on a Dortmund move.

Zarate is apparently available. Many rate him higher than me not sure id want him.
Hes currently on loan at inter from lazio. But hes way out of favor at Inter apparently there happy for him to leave.

Would be an interesting option for cover and his stock is at an all time low.

isn't n'zogbia out of favour at whatever club he's at now? wouldn't want to buy him, but that could be a decent loan signing for the rest of this season. i know i'm not aiming high here.

He plays most games, like the one against us the week before Christmas, he was pretty good that day but overall he's been disappointing for Villa.

That's a strange thing to say in the year 2012! It's been years since he was playing at a level approaching anywhere near world class.

He gets so much credit for the 3-0 champions league turn around, but truth be told hes the one who got them into the mess in the first place. Rafa brought on Hamann for the second half and the team looked 5x better by taking Gerrard out of midfield. Hes a disaster wide or central midfield.

Yeah he's been on a steady decline for a few years now and he's one of the most injury prone players going. He's also an egotistical, trouble making cunt that I'd hate to have in our dressing room.

I didn't realize Gerrard was so disliked on here. Truth be told I wonder what would have happened had he moved to Chelsea, at Liverpool he was the main man in an average team season after season so I wonder how he would have adapted moving to a better team (based on players not on history).

I really couldn't care less about a player being a cunt or otherwise, once he performs on the pitch and doesn't disrupt the dressing room. Rooney and Ronaldo are both cunts but invaluable to their respective teams.

I trust Wenger to work out a player's bad attitude when he comes to the club and make it clear that if he causes any trouble or tries to run the club that he will be shown the door

Gerrard is and has been a quality player for ages but he's old and injury prone now so it would be a wasted investment.
