It's all a bit beside the point anyway. I had a quick google and it looks like Milan are favourites to sign him. Perfect system for him. He'll replace Pirlo and we'll all be here next summer calling him one of the best central midfielders in Europe.

Would be a shot in the arm for the fans, especially once they actually see the guy play. The reports are coming out of France, where the press tend to be a little less of a joke, so you never know? I'd be walking on sunshine for a couple of days if we signed him.

I mentioned it in the "made up links" thread Ricky - none of the reputable French papers are carrying this story. I've been checking, despairingly 🙂
honestly, i'm not sure hazard would do anything for us this season. the system looks like it's broken down. we need to address central midfield.
then again, every little bit helps, we've got so many issues all over the pitch.

We still need a quality wide player, a quality CM (defensive), a quality CM(attacking), a Left back, and perhaps a CB, and that's hoping VanPersie stays fit all season.

hazard or mata are a must. theo and arshavin were chamakh type bad today, possibly worse.
loads of issues elsewhere ofcourse but if we conjure up a deadly trio upfront, they might be able to drag us through.
arsene always seems quicker to address the attack when it looks lacklustre so there is the faintest of hopes there

We wont sign enough players to make real change. Too much damage has been done and we're overloaded with average and inexperienced players who will only bring the club down.
Canal+ are reporting that we've had a €20M+ bid for Yann M'Vila turned down.
And The People say we want Kaka on loan for the season.

Indeed YG, Wenger has been sabotaging the team for 5 years, the damage is intensive and will take time to repair.
I heard the kaka rumour a couple of days ago. Not that it's very likely, but I think he'd be a huge waste of money on loan.
