Good to see the Spanish authorities going after these crooks. They should probably also focus on the clubs and agents involved too considering there's a pattern involving Barcelona, Real Madrid and Jorge Mendes.

Problem is he will get away with a slap on the wrist like Messi - 21 month prison sentence but none served!! That's amazing for someone convicted of knowingly evading taxes.

The reality is all these rich fuckers hire people to help them evade their taxes.

It's like the speed limit. The reality is the law is there because it's understood people will break it, and the consequences are just incremental risk and reward.

Our culture is to expect people like Messi and Mourinho to give back as little to society as they can—anything more must come at the price of them being overpraised for their generosity.

It's probably part of the on going tax reforms required as part of the GFC bail out package they got from the EU/Germany.
