More delusional than believer.

We are all believers to a varying degree.

United and City are too powerful... Chelsea don't seem the strongest but they play once per week.

United look anything but powerful.

Easy to say after a string of poor results but they have looked powerful the few times they've got going and also have physically dominating players. Their team is unstable because they've brought in a lot of players and are yet to fully integrate them. I'm also not sure Mourinho has the right temperament and mentality to steady the ship. He's very good at taking on an established team and pushing on but this time he a half complete rebuilding job on his hands.

Powerful my eye, they have not dominated any game or "got going" in any game.
They've been bailed out by Rashford and Zlatan.
As for it being "easy to say" after a run of losses, well yeah, it is.
Particularly when two of the losses were to the likes of Feynoord and Watford.
Are we supposed to ignore that so far we've actually been better than them?
Or do we continue thinking that because they spent 100mil on Pogba and have Mou at the helm that they're on a par with City?

We have been better than them. That wasn't the question and this is not about us against them.

It's a long season and I wouldn't be doing my victory dance just yet.

Where was the victory dance?
Pointed out that United are not powerful and should not be put on a par with City is all.

Spurs will be annoying again this year - such a physical team

Atleast this season we seem to be moving the ball about with more purpose

United look dogshit. Even before their recent poor run of results they haven't looked convincing at all

I thought fourth at the beginning of the season but the Chelsea match will tell us a lot about whether we are actually title challengers or not.

Liverpool worry me, not so much Spurs.

City will walk the league so we won't be challenging closely

They've looked decent in one match. Their players may be physically dominating but thats only gets you so far. They need way more guile in the team not physicality.

I think United looked very good a couple of weeks ago. You're only as good as your results though, and Mourinho is infamous for collapsing when the going gets tough. The whole point of appointing him was to get United to play football again but they currently look like the same team van Gaal bored people to death with. Most of the moves he made in the transfer window seem to have backfired. He brought in Bailly to shore up the defence, but he looks witless and tactically flawed. He insists on playing Rooney in midfield, so Pogba gets positioned way too deep (did anyone notice the distance between United' midfield and forward line today? Zlatan dropped down 30-40 yards to pick up the ball at times). He's benching Martial whose form is all gone now. He has done the same to Mkhitaryan, who is now injured on top of a deflated start.

Ibrahimovic and Rashford look like the only attacking players worth a tenner in that squad, and ideally they'd compete for the same position. I'd be worried right now if I were a United fan.

Claudius was loving the United hype after they bought the dab-merchant and beat the likes of Bournemouth and Hull. Wonder where he stands now.

Next few 4 fixtures for United include Leicester, Pool, and Chelsea. Interesting if they can fluke any results here, but more likely they'll get very little out of those games.

Yep. Last min goal against Hull, Ibra bailing them twice. That's all.

I don't think Baily is that bad to be honest. The entire defence needs a shake up De Gea included. I've seen some poor defending from is but they were awful against Watford. The football itself has gotten worse than what they played under Van Gaal. Problem with this league is the games come thick and fast, one bad result and you're suddenly on the back foot.

Agreed the lack of guile showed against Watford. I think Mourinho is far away from knowing his best 11 and Rooney has become a burden not just for them but England too.

Their real problem has been Pogba. He's been really awful since he joined them. Haven't done a single thing right.

He singlehandedly costs more than the entire Watford team + stadium and is playing like a poor man's Capoue.
