So we know our squad, we know everyone elses squad so where do you think we'll finish now?

Going to go with second, behind City.

I'm gonna say 3rd. Don't think we've improved much but I don't think other teams have improved as much as people seem to think.

we'll eventually get our act together and finish 3rd. I think City and United for 1, 2, and Chelsea, Spurs for 4, 5

Fuck it. Wenger knows 😆

Can't vote for anything but.

We won't finish outside of the top four.

I'm saying 3rd if our players stay fit and our signings adapt fast. 4th if whatever improvements we've made this summer only turn out to be marginal.

I think we will finish 2nd. City, United and Chelsea are all looking great, but they will all hit the wall at one point too. We will kick on from here.

Logic says fourth, but I feel bold today, so third it is.

The one thing that leaves me hopeful about 3rd place is that Conte didn't get a striker in. Hazard has started really well this season but he's one of the most mentally weak players I've seen, and Costa is a shell of his former self. I don't think they're good enough to carry an attack anymore.

Sad that we have to feel hopeful about third.

3rd possibly 2nd if one of the Manchester clubs slip up.

Speak for yourselves. I see no reason why this squad can't challenge.

Also - this place is fairly pessimistic at the best of times (I say that as one of the pessimists). Don't think anyone predicted our performance over past three seasons

You see any reason why this squad can't win though? Because that's what it comes down to for me. Challenging is not enough if you know that you ultimately won't win.

Have a random feeling we will be 3rd and we will feel we did well.

Cesc is done too. No way he does as much as he did even 2 years ago. Their attack is in serious trouble if Hazard drops off.

Yep, Cesc is done for sure. There's no way a player who can't run and doesn't understand tactical roles will get into a Conte side. I think Oscar might improve this season to make up for it though. His potential has been a bit wasted in recent years but he's a very able player.

Well it's not really challenging if you don't think you can actually win. But yeah, basically there's no reason why we can't finish in 1st place in my opinion, Wenger is probably the biggest one, but I don't think it's beyond him either. I certainly don't think there's enough between any of the squads mentioned to rule anyone out. It's marginal.
