only difference is transfer fee implications (what you might receive for a guy on your books versus what you might spend for someone not on your books). other than that, you need to have a guy who meets your competitive objectives

That's irrelevant. I said two more years because Sturridge is two years older and is still a crock.

Its also irrelevant because this is a loan. If we were offered Sturridge on loan for the season I'd happily take that.

I think we will live to regret that. He is easily one of our better right wing options when fit.

It will help him massively though. Wilshere wanted game time, we will help him develop his career further by loaning him out to a top club at the expense of ourselves. It's weird but if he comes back good then I guess it's at least a saving grace.

Have a sneaky feeling he will play a blinder for a good club out on loan this year, return and start the season injured for us.

I'd only loan Jack on the condition that he extends for another 2 years first. Can't have him show good form during his loan and then suffer through a summer where pople like Guardiola are trying to turn his head.

I can get behind Palace.
I do wonder though to what extent he needs a different town, where he can be 100% about football. Benefit of this is that it would be less impactful to his family. Lugging them around for 9 months could be destabilizing.

it's been whittled down to bournemouth and palace. i wouldn't mind him playing for eddie howe. bournemouth play some decent football under him
