I'm he finds some form and becomes a more rounded player it could happen. We fielded a Wilshere, Song and fabregas midfield for a whole season once upon a time, it's not all that different.

I would be quite sad to see Wilshere's Arsenal career end at 25. I always pictured Jack as playing for only Arsenal until winding down somewhere else in his early 30s.

It's sad, but the reality is, based on evidence, that he's more likely to leave soon rather than become the club legend we all envisaged several years ago.

My concern is that if Wilshere stays fit and has a good season on loan, then other clubs will definitely be in for him. And if he has mixed feelings about being sent on loan, that could well be enough to turn his head.

Wilshere played for Bournemouth against Milan in a friendly game yesterday.

Judging by the highlights, I think he just played the first half. Can't find anything about him getting injured.

Pretty sure Jack was the main protagonist in getting his loan move so he should not have any issues really.

Tbh, I'm not at all bothered by Wilshere's exit.

I had already lost patience with him 2 seasons ago. Has himself to blame for the way his career panned out with his reckless lifestyle (any footballer/athlete in this day and age who smokes is retarded) and bone headed tackling / dribbling into cul de sacs.

The fact that Wenger agreed to the loan leads me to think that he's lost either patience or faith in Jack - for me it points towards him not seeing that Jack could be anywhere near the first team this season.

Are you freakin serious with this? Do you know how many athletes (and I mean top athletes) have smoked in their time?? Micheal Jordan.. Mario Lemieux.. Ashley Cole. Wayne Rooney.. A-Rod..

even Messi, Zidane, Ozil, Sneijder have all smoked (or been caught smoking the odd cig). a shit ton of hockey players have/do smoke.

Is it dumb? yeah, probably.. is it career threatening? no... is it 100% different than doing cocaine? come on, dont be daft... of course it is...
