Flobaba, don't agree with your criticisms either. We don't have enough data to say if he's a reckless smoker or just into the occasional fag drag at the club. And the tackles - we like a player to get stuck in. I still haven't forgiven Theo from cowardly jumping out of the way of a 50-50 challenge last season.
Jack just needs to get healthy, perform like a top midfielder, and then we can talk about fitting him in. Next year, Ox needs to replace him at Bournemouth.
Meh, I've seen multiple reports of him smoking. So much so that Wenger had to have a word.
Also he was the pissedest of the pissed during our FA Cup celebration. I just don't get the impression that he is focused on what should be his number one task at this stage of his career : staying healthy. And what you ingest is as much a factor as your workout regimen when it comes to acquiring peak fitness.
Also, nah men... It is one thing to get stuck in, but it is plain stupidity to go thundering into every tackle senselessly if you have a history of getting serious injuries doing just that. Your instinct of self preservation has to kick in somewhere. Yes, I get annoyed by Theo's lame efforts, but I don't blame him. I can't.
@ Ricky: I know he's talented, but so what? so are Ben Arfa and Balotelli. Yes I know those are extreme examples, but for me Jack hasn't shown he has the discipline or smarts to get the most out of his talent. Quite frankly I think he's done at the Arsenal. Unfortunate, but that's how I see it. We've got the bodies and quality in midfield to cover for his absence. We move on.
