Still think that this move is not positive in any real way. Probably the end of Jack as a serious Arsenal player.

Well either he flops there or gets injured again and it means it was already over as a serious player, or he stays fit and rediscovers his form. In that scenario I don't see why he doesn't come back to take his place next season. Short terms loss for a potential long term gain.

I find it strange too, especially since he's been one of the first names off the bench which doesn't suggest that he's well down the pecking order. I reckon it's an impulsive decision after being left out of the England squad.

Think the whole thing is crazy. Reckon it's all come from Jack, too - a snap reaction to being omitted from the England squad - but Wenger still could have said no. Obviously couldn't promise him the minutes he wanted and is too good a man to stop him seeking them elsewhere. Can't believe we're going to give Elneny and Coquelin substantial minutes whilst Wilshere plays for Bournemouth!

Hopefully he plays 30+ games and comes back strong, but I think this could be the beginning of the end for him. To be fair, another seaosn here of struggling for fitness would have been the end anyway.

He's not going to get over his injuries by being heavily relied on though. At least here we could have rotated him as needed. I don't see how this helps his fitness issues at all.

I think its probably a positional thing too. I think Jack wants to play in the midfield but fuck that. You play where you are played. If Ozil can play on the wing for a while so can Jack. If he's not willing to fight for his place and to oust the other guys in his position whats the point?

He's not getting injured due to overuse though. I'd assume the benefit would be to get his body used to playing regular football again thought that's just a wild guess.

I see the benefit to this for Jack.. the choice of club is a bit strange, but take a look and you'll see that its really not that bad, even though strange...

He will not be first choice here any time soon because he is well off the pace. He will not get back into the pace by getting 10 or 15 minutes here and there. He needs to be the focal point/lynch pin in the middle of the pitch. He CAN be that, we've seen it. He needs to get back to that player.

Honestly, if he is fit, he would be one of the first names on B'mouth's team sheet... He is head and shoulders above everyone else in that squad (ability-wise). He needs to re-discover how to truly influence games. He will not be able to do that right now with our squad. Maybe Wenger sees him ultimately as a Cazorla replacement, and with Santi getting up there in years, let Jack finish cooking (and hopefully stay fit) and take Santis place next season, because I think this is Santi's last season as a focal point.

If he fails to stay injury free? Then sell him to whoever will buy him after this season. I dont really like Jack on the wings, i dont think his ultimate game is suited for that (square pegs and all that out wide). If he succeeds and becomes a stronger player again? Then he walks back into our team. He has the talent, he has the drive.. he just needs the health and the focus
