Wilshere's still in the 'potential' bucket, for me. Too many injuries, no game time, no defined role in the team and some silly buggers off the pitch. It's not working for him at Arsenal, at current, let's be honest.

If he can get it together at Bournemouth and get back to where we need him to be, good. Hoping Howe will have a clearer idea on how to manage/use him than Wenger has had.

And when was that exactly? If Jack is to become the star we've been hearing he's about to be for the last five years, he needs the platform to become that. What better place than a premier league club where he will be allowed to be the man under a progressive manager?
That to me sounds a million times better than being the last man in a 6 man midfield rotation, resulting in him playing a lot of garbage minutes all over the place. He's been incredibly rusty for England and Arsenal. You cannot deny this. He won't rediscover form from the back of our rotation.

That's why I said 'if he stays fit'. The possibility of him picking up another injury is a non-factor; whether he's injured at Arsenal or Bournemouth changes nothing. But the potential of an injury free Jack is undeniable. I just don't see why we should give away that possible advantage this season. It's not like we've got a squad that is brimfull of brilliant footballers, and it doesn't look like we had any better plans for the squad place he was taking up either.

Think the club/wilsh realized even when fit, he just wasn't up to speed. Being out for so long and playing sporadically when fit can do that to you i guess. Even then that is a big assessment to come to. Plus you don't know where he is mentally with all this.

Personally for him it definitely is a good move. Upto him and his luck now.

This is in Wilshere's beet interest but, like Klaus, I don't think this move is in Arsenal's best interest.

I long wanted for the club not to rely on Jack. I think he's a lost talent and the vwry best that can be expected of him is maybe just one full decent season. Glad we're not wasting time with him anymore.
