Lyon leaked information regarding our bid which no journalist had any clue about but it would normally worry me that he was below Lacazette on our list of options.

As it stands now, it doesn't really matter. We desperately need an option up front even if he isn't good enough to displace Giroud.

Watched a couple of videos and he reminds me of Griezmann in the way he plays. Looks really good value at £17m. I hope we still have something else lined up after we get this guy in though.

Well the Vardy move was over in June. We've had 2 months to get another deal done. Fair enough if you are waiting for someone like Ozil but not for Perez. I'm happy enough to sign him but its too late and not enough.

Not exactly worlds apart though; 22 in 38 games for Griezmann and 17 in 36 for Perez.

At least we might be signing a forward, we desperately, desperately need a warm body. It's a fucking pity the money we wasted on Welbeck.
