He's a very physical player, relies on both pace and power. I could definitely see him fall away as he hits 30.
Like I said just play him every game this year, it's not like he'll resist, apparently he's desperate to play Chelsea this weekend. By the time the World Cup is over, his 5th consecutive summer tourny, he'll probably be broken.

Some really classy statements being made in this thread.
Wenger's comments on Sanchez this morning pretty transparent. Basically spells out that he wants to leave but we've decided to keep him and he's going to respect that.

If there's any player that you could keep whilst his contract runs down yet still be sure he'll give you 100% it's Sanchez.
So here we are on the day of the charity shield and neither of these 2 have signed a new deal. TBH I thought Ozil would have by now.

Nor has Chamberlain and we haven't sold any of our seemingly unwanted players - Jenkinson, Chambers, Perez, Gibbs, may be Wilshere are all here.
I'd guess that the club is more focused on Alexis than Özil.
Seems like Ozil is more than happy to do his final year and then go somewhere on a free. Which is fair enough.
Although his deal to us happened very quietly so maybe his team are just really discrete.
I reckon both are just being greedy. I think both have a figure in mind that they would have signed for by now. Understandable since it's their last deal but it's a risky game.
