I see the newspapers claiming 330k pounds.
Look, I think it's nuts, but if the calculus is you would rather
a) pay 15,5m per year for 4 years (60m) than
b) sell him for 50m, then replace him for upto 70m and then pay some guy 12m pounds a year for 4 years (net 68m), then I'm fine with it.
of course, if we had been more ambitious last summer, maybe we tie him down at 250k per week, and save ourselves 3m pounds a year 🙂
