So all those claiming the contracts were signed were wrong. Wenger confirmed in presser yesterday that we are in the process of negotiating and hope to reach an agreement soon.

Twitter says new 5 years deals for both, so in effect 3 years extensions.

There were reports earlier this month and before as well of Sanchez wanting a release clause before extending. Today some talk on twitter about City wanting Sanchez. (It says in Jan, but more likely summer i think)

Really? Other than Neymar, Messi, Suarez, Griezmann and Ronaldo, I don't see anyone in world football that can provide the same level of quality as Sanchez does for us.

I see where yout coming from, but the list is even smaller for Ozil. We'll miss Sanchez's match winning qualities but not his ability as a footballer (compared to Ozil) - if that makes sense?

Özil is unique. There is no copy of him – not even a bad copy

Wilshere was yet another taker of the number ten along with gallas. Ozil has earned that shirt if he wants it, jack can either deal with that or throw his toys out like a petulant bench rider.
