Unacceptable if he goes to United though, their football makes ours look good. I can understand wanting to play with De Bruyne and Aguero instead of Welbeck but if he opts to play with Lingard and Lukaku at last season's 6th placed team he can go fuck himself

Last year's 6th place team is this year's 2nd place team and in the Champions League, with lots of loot.

Also, the whole City vs. United. I don't understand why you guys prefer one or the other. It's not 2004 with Keown flying over van Nistelrooy. Whether we send him to one or the other, we are strengthening a team that stands between us and next year's league title.

I would rather we shipped him off to a European team for 10m pounds if we can get him to accept leaving the country. How eager is he to get out of this shit house?

Do you really think United are the second best team in the league?

They're overperforming massively in my humble opinion, wouldn't be surprised to see them crash to 4th or 5th come season end (even 6th if we weren't the embarrassing car crash team we currently are). They will do nothing in the CL either, draw them against PSG or Barcelona and they'll look the pub side they really are

They'll finish 2nd if they get Sanchez and they'll do well in the CL too. People underestimate how well Sanchez would suit United, he'd fit in far better than at City. Mourinho will sit deep with Sanchez, especially in the CL, he'll give up possession and leave Sanchez up top with Lukaku or Rashford and hope to catch teams on the break or just have Sanchez do something amazing.

We should have sold Sanchez in the summer and signed a quality player. Not only would we have had more points now (Sanchez clearly didn't play like he had his heart here), we also would have had a settled side for the run-in and cup competitions.

Tbh we've had this discussion so many times - when we sold Nasri and van Persie everyone said we should have run their contract down. This time we've done that with Sanchez (which I was pleased about at the time) and it's not really proved to be a better option.

We need to stop having to be put in a position where these are our only two options.

Its Mourinho, all his tactics are horrible. Stick players like Alexis in to them though and they become annoyingly effective. Mourinhos whole PL career has been to employ the same tactics people like Allerdyce and Hughes do but with far better players.

Play him properly. I was playing around with numbers the other day. United generate a very low number of shots both on an absolute basis and even if you normalize for how much possession they have. They could benefit from having someone like Sanchez at the sharp end of their attack to help push chances. They should leave playmaking to Mata, Pogba and others and let him stay up front. I think they could even sacrifice Lukaku in some Champions League games, for example
