If Martial was on the table we'd have to pay them a significant sum + give them Sanchez, but it'd be worth it. Sanchez is in the twilight of his peak while Martial's has just begun.

😆 at people talking about Martial. It will be one of their rejects who was never good enough for them who will come and join Silvestre and Welbeck and perhaps Evans too in a long line of them. He'll get a lot of goals and assists, without doubt, but I can't see Mourinho's way of playing suiting him and I can't see him gelling brilliantly with Pogba and Lukaku.

He'll improve them in the short term for sure but like you've said before it's doubtful whether he has the physique to last more than a couple more years at the top level.

Well for the fee they are paying for him, that should suffice - they also have Martial and Rashford who will develop over those couple of years.

United have an incredibly expensive squad. They are trying to win Champions League this year/next and the league next year. Sanchez makes sense from that perspective.

We should but we wont.

There are so many options available to us in this window to make something good of the situation we find ourselves in but I really don't have any faith we will sort it our. We could get any 2 of Mahrez, Malcom, Aubameyang, Martial, Lemar, etc and we'd probably have just as good an attack next season and this season or last. Its very doable but we wont do it.

If Wenger has his wits about him, he finds a way to come out of this January with Martial and Aubameyang. I will be fine with Sanchez leaving. Ozil, Martial and. Aubameyang could be a watchable frontline for the next four months. Some dope to clam the fans

If we have the option to sell Sanchez to City if United aren't willing to part with Martial then maybe that could help force the move, but I don't see us doing it.
