He did try to get Sterling last year. Unfortunately, Pep knew he was better off waiting. Mourinho, on the other hand might think that he is better off getting Sanchez now than waiting for him to go into the free market and might be more willing to allow one of his myriad forwards to leave. If that forward is interested in joining the Farcenal of the future that Wenger is building.

I would take Martial. If you get Martial in this deal, run along and bring in Mahrez now, I suspect you have a basis to beg Ozil, even though he would be mad to sign anything before June.

I'd definitely take martial but I doubt mourinho would consider it. I wouldn't mind Shaw, might be worth a punt even though he's a fat lazy bastard. Don't really want anyone else.

Martial is the only one who'd make the transfer to united somewhat acceptable.

I really don't thing shaw is a professional player. He'd be a waste of time signing. Like when people wanted Ben arfa, Richards, pato, balotelli ect. The talent is there but they're not professionals they make the team worse if anything.

Mourinho seems to rate Lingard and doesn’t like Martial’s workrate. Alexis would effectively take his spot, it’s in everyones interest for a swap deal.
