Last minute of the game too and it was against Valencia who they put out of the CL in the process, the latter had a similar season to us in 02/03 in that they were a lot better than their final position in the table, they won the league the season after too.

It's probably the goal I most vividly remember from my youth, that sequence of him chesting the ball up high before jumping for the overhead kick is as iconic as it gets

Savz is googling Rivaldo right now

Napoli are 3-0 up against Inter in the 70th minute. Brilliant game from Piotr Zielinski. He basically killed the match within the first 6 minutes, first by scoring a half-volley and then assisting Hamsik with a brilliant pass to 2-0.

Insigne's 3-0 was pretty good too:

Luckily his move to Liverpool failed.

I didn't know they were after him. The guy looks like a player in the making.

Good to see Strootman on the scoresheet for Roma, bloke would've been one of Europe's best CMs by now if it wasn't for the injuries

Marchetti is incredibly shit, joke keeping for the second. Also Wallace' defending for Roma's first πŸ˜† Very rare to see someone do something this retarded in a professional football match, in a big derby too

Super finish from Higuain.

Sneezey had a pretty great save too. Two minutes of extra time left, and it looks as if Juve will hold on.

Was a great game.
Naingolan is one hell of a player. De Rossi is well past it, and Szczesny was good (still can't kick though).

Nainggolan is so underrated. He'd boss the crap out of any Premier League midfield.

Think he rejected them couple of times already.

Mertens with another hat trick after getting one last week. Looks like a 14 year old but he's actually turning 30 in a couple months, really would've liked him on our wing if it wasn't for his age. 13 goals and 7 assists from the wing and he's not even a nailed on starter

His 4th goal, my word.

insane!

Lol. Joe Hart.

Quality goal.

Insigne with an insane strike against Fiorentina:

Another angle:

I liked this goal more than Insigne's. More difficult to execute.

In that same match, this is some passage of play.

Torino are 2-0 up against Milan at half time. Falque being awesome in the buildup for the first goal, and a nice predatory finish from Belotti too:

The second goal was a nice backheel from Benassi, Belotti with the assist:

The new Juventus crest is absolutely fucking terrible. What in the world were they thinking.

I think this one looks better!

πŸ˜† Who did they pay to design that crest for them, the Apple support?

Savz' boy Romagnoli for both goals looking as dogshit as the new Juve crest

The new Juve crest would be great if Juve was a fashion brand. I'm all for rocking the boat when it comes to branding, but the new crest is a corporate logo, not a crest. The new typeface is really nice though.

Edit:
I just read this unbelievable piece from the Juve fan blog:

http://www.juvefc.com/juventus-logo-rebranding-bigger-picture/

Would it make sense to have a computer logo from 1977 on an internet device in 2017? The new Juventus logo is no longer about the football team, it’s about the brand. An expansion beyond the pitch that must encompass everything it does and that it intends to do. Therefore, it must not only appeal to the core football fan, it must appeal to non-football fans.

HOLY SHIT. What utter nonsense is that?

That's no fan. That's the guy who was paid half a million dollars to come up with that new logo

πŸ˜† The hilarious thing is that it literally IS a computer logo that existed in 1977:

πŸ˜† My exact thoughts.

I love reading horrible pieces like these. I always imagine the author of these articles to be some well-educated moron sipping on an caramel lattΓ© thinking themselves to be profound when they type out some shit about working on "expanding the appeal of your brand". And of course the article as every marketing piece of piss in existence comes complete with a mention of how fucking Apple changed the world with its vision, regardless of how completely irrelevant Apple is to the topic at hand

Napoli are 2-0 up against Milan after 10 minutes. Another class goal from Insigne.

Milan vs Napoli now, 2-0 to the away team and not even 10 minutes played yet. Napoli is deadly on the counter.

16 days later

Apparently Marco fucking Parolo scored four fucking goals in one game against Pescara, the first three all headers. πŸ˜†

Also shame about Juventus steamrolling everyone because Napoli really deserve a title with this team. Won 7-1 away at Bologna with both Hamsik and Mertens scoring hat tricks

πŸ˜† I like Parolo. He's not the flashiest but you tell him to run and he'll forrest gump it throughout the game.

I can't believe how great Mertens is this season, by the way. Bloke has never looked like anything but a bit-part player before in Italy and now he's one of the best forwards in Europe.

He always played on the wings in the past, now he has the chance to flourish in the centre after Higuain left and he has made them an even more fluid side in attack. It's amazing.

Hamsik hattrick was class by the way.

A 9-man Milan just scored a 90th minute winner against Bologna away. πŸ˜†

Paletta for a second booking after 38 minutes and Kucka for a second booking within six minutes after 58 minutes πŸ˜†

Tough week for Bologna after conceding seven at home vs Napoli. I'm going to put my life savings on Donadoni getting the sack before midnight

He's testing their patience for sure.

Speaking of Serie A, Higuain showed up with another goal tonight. That's his 6th in 2017 and overall the 19th in 23 starts for Juve this season. Top scorer in Italy again despite a struggling start. What a player he is.

I didn't see the Milan match but apparently they've not only been down to 9 men but Poli was limping shortly after coming on after 60 minutes. Which reminds me of this video

17 days later

So Juve now has 30 consecutive home wins....30. I can't even imagine that the way we play at home.
