Nelson will be back in 2-3 weeks I reckon. Posted he was fully training in the gym on his insta earlier this week so can’t be far off.

He looked really good right before the injury. Made at least me reconsider his future at Arsenal.

If he can play like he was they’ll be a new deal waiting for him. He’s probably the best cover we have for Saka

Definitely. Seems a good fit for the way we play too.

Wenger used to bang on about players reaching a new level physically around his age. Looks like Reiss has seen that change. Had that not happened we’d be having a different conversation

I was never impressed by him earlier. Thought he looked like a youtube footballer. Inefficient showboat nonsense. But he looked really good this season before getting injured. Much more assured, efficient and he made quick decisions. Hope he gets another run in the team.

It's not sounding very good for Nketiah. We may have to further explore those false 9 setups with some kind of involvement from Smith-Rowe, Martinelli, and Trossard until Jesus is back. Hopefully this doesn't wobble us out of EL, and Jesus can hopefully put on the shirt in a fortnight or so.

Was ESR taken off due to injury? He looked ok in the celebrations

Nah he was fine. Played his 50mins or so.

Worried about Trossard and Nketiah though. We need them.

I dont think Tross will be long term. Probably tweaked something and they though it best not to chance it. And ESR i think was just pulled because he hasnt played in months and 50 mins was enough (he wasnt all that effective anyway, and look what happened when Nelson came on)

Fingers crossed. We really need at least one of him and Eddie (ideally both) back whilst Jesus is still out.
