Everything I've read about Santi in the last few months suggests he's a sports invalid in every sense other than the official one. It's sad but we gave it a shot with the contract extension.
It's good that this setback came now and not in September though. You just know that Wenger would have entered this season counting on Cazorla to play 30 games otherwise.
