It's only in the last 2 years he has been injured.
First season, he was our player of the year.
The following season he scored that free kick just before half-time when we were 2-nil down in the cup final.
The next season he was man of the match when we won the FA cup again.
Post-Arteta, he has been our midfield and was our best player when playing AM with Arteta in the deep role.
Everytime he has been out, our performances have become disjointed.
I say i have a point as Alexis still has a way to go to match this as, although he has won an FA cup this year, he is part of the crew that meekly lost to the spuds and dropped us out of the top 4 for the first time in 20 years.
