Little bit more info here from Bild (in German) about Havertz. Claims our doctors are trying to patch his knee up and avoid surgery over the next couple of weeks, but the effort may fail.

you can't duct tape someone's knees back to full health. anyway sounds like a meniscus tear, best to get it surgically repaired and hopefully he's back by champions league knockouts or sooner (can be 3 months sometimes).

Read more, so they will give him injections ...I assume it's the regular, corticosteroids, plasma and hyaluronic acid. In general on the meniscus or ACL I would would say that would never work on a football player, not with the amount of training they do. Also free joint bodies in the knee, if the bodies came from mensicus or ACL, then it's done, but I assume it's not as then he would have already had the surgery?

According to BILD information, the striker has problems with the cartilage and free joint bodies in the knee. Now Havertz is receiving conservative therapy for two weeks and also injections. The Arsenal doctors are trying to get the issue under control.

If it's the spongy cartilage that's like the grizzle on the end of a chicken drumstick that bounces back when you bite it. If its that he'll be ok and it's not bad news. You just have an achy knee you can play on after a couple of months.

If it's the cartilage lining on the joint surface then this is the injury King had, Lauren had one when his form fell off a cliff, this is what wellbeck had that made him a Tampax player in for 1 out for 4. Now it depends where it is on the joint surface and how big the defect is. So some parts of the joint take more load more frequently in the same way some parts of your trainer will wear quicker. This is an injury you manage rather than recover from hence the usual lack of operation as you can fix it. In all likelihood he'll never be the same again. And fans well rewrite how good he was. This would be the worse possible news.

Yeah and this management stuff seems very risky with the way Arteta expects his players to play physically and what havertz normally has to do. It just would seem like another setback waiting to happen.
