It's sad - sounds like the injuries are having their toll on his mental health based on what Arteta said. Wonder if his desperation to be fit is indirectly contributing to his inability to overcome his injuries...?
Injury Thread...It's Never Ending
Worried about us being down to 1 RB with the White and Tomi injuries. Can't expect Timber to be playing every game after the ACL.
Any chance of us repurposing 1 of our current 5 LBs (Calafiori, Zinchenko, MLS, Tierney, Kiwior LOL) to RB?
Panda think it'll be Partey, rightly or wrongly. Maybe we can bring in a loan in January?
I don't we need another body there. We will be fine.
Don Pacifico Ah yeah you are right will be Partey, not ideal, but shouldn't be a problem when Timber needs to be managed.
Clrnc Yeah don't think we will bring anyone in.
MLS can play there
Sicario2 - Tier 1 an entire league at right back - we'd be impenetrable!
Bring Back Kerrea Gilbert I dunno, have you ever actually watched the MLS!
Sicario2 - Tier 1 wouldn't this better if it showed total games missed due to official injury?
Qwiss cool saw it. We are the only big team in that list. A madness. But hopefully we are relatively fine now.
Arteta in his recent interviews has spoken a lot about the inability to practice properly with a team of missing and unfit players. He was really holding things together last few weeks. Hopefully, we can fly now
Claudius I think he needs to find ways to stop it happening. Obviously a lot of injuries are unavoidable but there is a big difference with players like Odegaard looking fresh. Its the same as the post-Dubai period. Freshness is huge for this team and the way Arteta wants to play. He's got to trust the likes of Nwaneri, Merino and Jorginho, maybe even Sterling to do more in the coming months.
When's our back up right back going to be fit again?
