I will hold off any actual actual comment on Holding until I see him play in a better team than a championship-relegated Bolton team. Sound promising, but so have so many others.

This comes across as a very good signing by us. Happy to have the lad. Now if we could only sort out the players in front of him too...

He doesn't look like the sort tough as nails defender you'd hope for does he. He's about as intimidating as Goetze.

Yeah but from the little I've seen seems like he can throw his weight about and shrug opponents off the ball. Looks exceptional with the ball at his feet too

Never seen him play, glad he looks fairly tall and athletic though.

He needs to do something about that forehead though. Unless he goes out and gets some quality hair plugs he'll have a widow's peak to rival Eddie Munster by this time next year.

He is extremely impressive. You cannot excel in the Championship if you are not tough as nails.

I think the toughness of the Championship is one big myth personally. I watched it on and off a few seasons ago when Viasat showed most of the games, and the main thing that stood out is that the tempo is a lot slower. There were very few ugly tackles as a consequence since defenders didn't get caught as much, and duels were generally less physical. It was pretty fascinating.

Youtube caveats and all, but I enjoyed that. Looks very comfortable on the ball, and quite quick too.
