Why was Ian Rush out there looking like Willie Wonka? Rocking a Tony Adams original

Was watching the game at a friend's and commented that his calibration was fucked until I realised the awful truth.

Must be miserable to be a Spurs fan watching that boy stroke the ball for Madrid.

Up there with Xavi, Alonso and Pirlo for me.

Barça fans must be feeling sick. After that run of 3 European Cups without reply from Real and then one more after 2014, Barça watch Real take it to 12 times.

Real Madrid - biggest club in the world?

Three league titles in ten years, during that time Barcelona won six titles, a CL double and two trebles. Real are most definitely up there but this season doesn't elevate them above everyone else imo

I think Barca fans will be alright. They're even dismissing Real and Ronaldo's accomplishments this season as meaningless. Both are corrupt 1 percenter clubs, but I have been anti-Barca since they showed us flagrant disrespect with regard to Fabregas. Fiyah burn!

Barcelona are a vile club in many respects but I've hated Real since before the first Galacticos. Florentino is as big a cancer on football as Abramovich is

It's all bad, Jones.
I am super worried though about the concentration of talent in a few teams. I don't think it is going to get any better. English clubs should be helping to combat this, but they really don't seem to be able to build empires the way the Spanish clubs do. At worst, Real will dump Morata and replace him with a Hazard or a Mbappe. Meanwhile Barca have THAT front 3.

I wish there was someone in Uefa who had the balls to break the wheel.

😆 English clubs only have themselves to blame.

Madrid in particular were struggling in Europe since failed Galacticos era and English teams were absolutely dominant with plenty of money coming into the league. But instead of evolving since 2008, they've regressed and currently being out performed by German and Italian clubs, never mind Barcelona and Real.

If UEFA were ever involved in making the system more fair, it's not the English (or Italian/German/Spanish) that need attention. It's everyone else.
