You can't have a government with a -41 majority and beyond stopping no deal I don't think there's much appetite or consensus in the 'rebel alliance' to continue to work together in Parliament, so an election will probably happen in the next few weeks, it's just a question of timing so that no deal is ruled out.
Bojo will say he needs a big majority to reverse the legislation going through stopping no deal and I assume Farage will help him. I wonder if Labour and the Lib dems can look past their differences to form a similar pact in certain seats? I think it's essential but I get the feeling Labour leadership will find it unthinkable. The irony is though, working with the Lib Dems is actually the best way to snuff out the threat they pose. Squaring up to the Lib Dems and Swinson like they did after the European Parliament elections was a disastrous tactic.
