you know what? i think if we played with 2 strikers, giroud would be absolutely great as one of the starters.
put someone next to him who is quicker and a clinical finisher and i think we'd function so much better than we do now. what he does well, holding up the ball, winning headers, knockdowns, etc. he'd be just fine. he just isnt good enough to consistently lead the line on his own. i hate 4-2-3-1.
