Haha - no chance. Our transfer window has gone back to the Xhaka + NoOneElse + ALANS that most people expected a week ago. In any case, England being England, hopefully his participation in the European Championship will be short-lived.

Pride? You're idea would be to panic buy to save face. Wenger+co are smarter than your average Joe at work and Arsenal twitter. 100% won't be making any panic buys.

United are a huge club and have been rejected by a hell of a lot of super talented players in the last 2-3 summers. It happens, albeit rarely, just a shame the bid had to be released to the media instead of just being kept quiet which I'm certain Arsenal fc would have wanted it to be.

People need to untwist their knickers and the club needs to sort out its strategy and its other targets tout de suite.

nothing wrong with him deciding to stay at leicester, they have a good setup and he's a big deal there. arsenal have made their best offer, so why should they sit around and wait a month? we need to move on. there is nothing embarrassing about a northerner not wanting to move to london. it is embarrassing to sit around and wait a month for that rejection though.

It's not embarrassing, and I'll still take him if we can't sign anyone better while he "makes his mind up". But I want the cocky little git to regret his decision to drag this out, I can only assume for the attention or to use to Euros to boost his profile.
