Yep, can't emphasize that enough. Our last 2 failed title bids were lost at home.

It's much much harder to drop points at home and gain it away. We always do it the difficult way though.

Yeah I'm not seeing the logic mate. 3 points sees us a point closer to the league leaders and that's what matters most. Spurs will be Spurs and United are never going to challenge for the league this year.

Our unbeaten run is very impressive. Should install confidence. A few wins and we get our September/early October momentum back.

Can't help but think that if we are to challenge deep into the season, Xhaka and Perez have to play a very big part from here on. Mustafi aside we are essentially the same side from last season and we have started well compared to previous years. We struggled for goals and have only changed our setup to address it. Chelsea are too good a side to be playing a game a week and that kind of a rest suits Klopp's football perfectly too. Wenger made 7 changes today and we won. The squad will need to contribute and take the load of Alexis and Ozil though so that they remain fresh for the run-in.

Our December and festive Premiership fixtures:

West Ham (A)
Stoke City (H)
Everton (A)
Man City (A)
West Brom (H)
Crystal Palace (H)
Bournemouth (A) - Just 48 hours after Palace

We have a few injuries at absolutely the wrong time. We need to come out of these fixtures with respectability and we might really be in with a shot.

Apart from the middle two fixtures (Everton away will be really difficult cos of Koeman having Wenger's number) that is a good fixture list. Wouldn't worry too much about Bournemouth game being only 48 hours after Palace, everyone has the same turnaround time during that particular time of the year.

They're very tricky with payet and sakho.

Trip to Old Trapdoor today should soften them up. It's a tricky fixture nonetheless.

I don't consider myself a pessimistic person, but I don't think we'll achieve much this season with Cazorla out until March.

I think we can use Coquelin-Xhaka similar to how Chelsea use Kante-Matic.
