Bit weird. I thought Coquelin would want a lower number regardless of Xhaka's arrival, it's a number which isn't really representative of his standing in the squad anymore while Xhaka has worn it at every club and even has it tattooed on his back

i watched the game. xhaka played very deep, virtually next to the cbs most of the game. him and rodriguez were fairly solid but it was a pretty subdued game all round

I think so too. He'll be a bit more physical and probably not quite as clever as Arteta.

Hopefully he'll go to town on anyone who switches off or doesnt track back.
