Rate Curtis Jones in terms of talent, less sure about work ethic over med/long-term. Also just seems unproductive to sink time dealing with Liverpool, whilst I am keen for Patino to be the only developmental project in midfield, followed by Nwaneri. All other midfielders in our ranks being ready to excel.
I must say I am really gravitating to the Onana pursuit at the right price (30-35m, but unlikely). He's also had solid consistent minutes in the league over the 1.5 seasons. Everton are in financial strait and look robust enough to withstand a departure. I want us to continue put some value on physical stature, and his passing looks good.
Everton could use a player like Kiwior too. Not that I've given up on Jakub. Poor guy's a 23-year-old CB in a new league being asked to play some sort of chess knight role on scrap minutes.
