Cannon While I think Arteta could use him much better than he's been utilized at Chelsea, I don't want any part of it. If we are adding to the forward line this summer, the emphasis should be on players who either have a great track record of bringing goals to the table (i.e. Vlahovic) or add pace and a new angle of attack (i.e. Diaby). If we are interested in a hybrid 10/false 9, I'd much rather go for Joao Felix.

Me thinks its just Chelsea trying to raise his stock/profile. Apparently RM backed off after Chelsea quoted some ridiculous amount, hence this 'news'. My understanding is CFC need to sell/loan before buying any new players.

He turns 24 next week so I still think there is time for him to reach his potential. Real Madrid aren't interested for no reason, he is a massive talent and I think he would be great for us. Under a top coach I think he would be an immense player.

I'm surprised Chelsea are thinking of selling him and I also don't think they'd sell to us.

He’s actually been decent for Chelsea, good footballer. But he’s too awkward to fit into a system. Maybe he could be an 8/wideman hybrid ala ESR and Vieira, but it’s not really someone who’d have an obvious role.
