You making an assumption that bringing in money was more important than turning over the squad. Edu could’ve made money from our squad. But I bet we would still be selling that squad right now and sitting middle of the table. The two main reasons our squad went for nothing. Covid market and a sudden abundance of Arsenal players in the market. This is not rocket science. It’s one of those really ridiculous criticisms that you’ve levied against Edu and Arteta. Meanwhile, they’ve turned the squad over quickly and have the best young team on the continent from it. We could still be sitting here selling, making money, but then there’d be no space for White, Tomi, Zinny etc
